I'm proud to share my Ubisoft NEXT-Technical Art submission for this year. The idea was to develop a tool for artist to speed up the creation of spaceship bridges with different layouts and properties to distinguish them.
To facilitate the workflow in this project I created a Blueprint that allows the artist to set the bridge’s size and automatically populate it with instances of the selected meshes for the floor, walls, corners, windows, doors, and ceiling. The blueprint allows the artist to automatically randomize these assets as well as their different surface properties to quickly create different bridges with just a few clicks.
